Prime Rib

Ingredients

  • 1 prime rib

  • 1 tbsp horseradish

  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard

  • 2 tsp salt and pepper

  • 2 tsp thyme

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 4 celery stalks

  • 1 carrot

  • 1 onion

  • 2 tsp beef base (paste)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

  • 1 tsp water

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 450F
  • Rub roast with horseradish and mustard
  • Mix together salt, pepper, thyme, garlic. Sprinkle over roast
  • Place vegetables in roaster
  • Cook at 450F for 30 minutes
  • Cook at 325F for 13-15 minutes per pound (For med-rare)
