Ingredients – Beef
1 1/2 large onion, sliced
9 garlic cloves, chopped
3 pounds beef sirloin roast, cut into 1 inch strips
1/2 tbsp cumin
1/2 tbsp black pepper
1/2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp majoram
1 tsp basil
6 cubs beef bouillion
1/4 cup bourbon (Such as Jim Beam)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp prepared mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire
1/2 tbsp hot sauce
2 cans beer
- INGREDIENTS – TOPPINGS
Red onion, sliced
Green pepper, sliced
Red pepper, sliced
Jalapenos, sliced
Swiss cheese
Monterey Jack cheese
Sub Buns
Directions
- Spread onion and garlic in to bottom of slow cooker
- Layer beef over onions and garlic
- Add Ingredients over beef
- Pour beer over beef
- Cook on low heat for 8 hours stirring every hour or so
- Once cooked, reserve liquid for ‘Au Jus’
- Brown buns
- Layer meat and toppings onto single side of bun
- Broil to melt cheese
- Top with bun
- Serve with Au Jus
