Oven Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 pound thick-cut bacon

  • Fresh ground pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 F.  Place rack in center of oven
  • Crinkle a large sheet of aluminum foil.  Line large baking sheet with aluminum foil.  The crinkles will create valleys to hold the fat from the bacon
  • Arrange bacon in a single layer
  • Season with fresh ground pepper
  • Cook for 20 minutes or to desired crispiness.  Note, if you use regular cut bacon, cooking time will be reduced to about 12-15 minutes
