Ingredients
1 pound sausage
1 cup brown rice, cooked
1/4 cup butter
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
1 tablespoon worcestershire
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon salt and pepper
Directions
- Brown sausage. Cut into slices
- Prepare brown rice
- Saute onions, celery and garlic in butter
- Add remaining ingredients
- Boil, reduce heat, simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is cooked
