Ingredients
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3 pounds beef short ribs
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
1/2 cup chili sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup water
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine 2 tbsp of flour, salt, and pepper. Coat the short ribs with the flour mixture
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown short ribs in olive oil
- In a slow cooker, combine remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Transfer the short ribs from the skillet to the slow cooker
- Cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours
- Remove ribs and tent. Reserve sauce
- Mix the remaining 2 tbsp of flour with 1/4 water. Add Sauce. Thicken
