Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts

  • Fettuccine noodles to serve 4

  • Salt

  • Pepper (preferably white pepper)

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1garlic clove

  • 1 1/2 cups Gruyere cheese

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  • Cook pasta in a boiling pot of water
  • Cut chicken into strips
  • Cook chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat. Seasons with salt and pepper
  • Remove from skillet
  • Clean skillet
  • Melt butter over medium-low heat
  • Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly until smooth
  • Drain pasta
  • Stir together parsley and chicken and pasta
  • Mix well
  • Serve
