Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, thin strips
Linguini noodles
1-1/2 cup broccoli
1 cup red pepper, sliced
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon ginger
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions
- Boil water
- Prep vegetables
- Start cooking linguini in boiling pot of water
- Cook chicken in olive oil over high heat
- Saute onion and garlic over medium heat until soft
- Add broth, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, lemon, oil, ginger, sugar, hot pepper sauce
- Add carrots and cook half way over medium heat
- Add cornstarch and boil
- Add chicken, broccoli and peppers. Cook until tender
- Serve over linguini
